Emergency Numbers

The numbers to call for a fire emergency in the United States, Canada and Europe. In every EU country, 112 is free to call from landlines and mobile phones and connects you to the emergency services, including the fire service.

Tip: if you are not sure which number to use in Europe, call 112. In the United States and Canada, call 911. Many US areas also accept text-to-911, and several European countries offer 112 by SMS or app for deaf and hard-of-hearing users.
